Compression treatment with the mediven ulcer kit: innovative two-component stocking system that is easy to apply and remove
The mediven ulcer kit consists of two components and is therefore simple to put on.
How do I put on the white mediven ulcer kit liner stocking properly?
- Step 1: slide your hand into the stocking.
- Step 2: turn the stocking inside out down to the heel.
- Step 3: pull the stocking over your foot.
- Step 4: position the size mark over your heel and the back of the foot.
- Step 5: now pull the stocking up over your calf to below the knee without twisting it, the tension you exert determines the length of the stocking.
- Step 6: then check that the stocking fits exactly and once again make sure that it is wrinkle-free.

I find it very difficult putting the stockings on. Are there any aids?
With the medi Butlers, medi offers a selection of donning aids that make donning medical compression garments, e.g. for patients with osteoarthritis of the hands or obesity, considerably more easy. See also "Donning and doffing compression garments".
