Setting the compression range
circaid juxtacures has the unique Built-In-Pressure System (BPS), with which you can easily set the therapeutic compression level. Your doctor prescribes the optimum compression range - normally 20, 30, 40 or 50 mmHg. It is very important that this compression is maintained all day long to provide the best possible treatment for the ulcer. The correct pressure is set simply as follows:

Step by step instructions
- Step 1: locate the edge of the card that matches the circaid leg garment for your ankle circumferences. We recommend you mark the matching edge.
- Step 2: start with the lowest strap of the garment. Place the vertical line on the card on one of the BPS lines on the lowest strap.
- Step 3: check where the second BPS line on the strap lines up with the compression ranges on the cardt.
- Step 4: if the BPS line lines up above or below the desired compression range, loosen the strap and refasten it until the desired compression is achieved.
- Step 5: repeat steps two to four with all the straps up towards the knee. Make sure that all the straps have been set at the same compression level.
- Step 6: as soon as all the straps have been set at the same compression level, you can turn the top and bottom borders of the liner stocking over the circaid juxtacures wrap.
How often should the pressure be set with the measuring card?
In order to ensure the optimum therapeutic pressure all day long, readjust the individual straps every two to five hours. Use the measuring card to do this.
Guarantee the best possible therapeutic pressure simply by readjusting the straps.
circaid juxtacures gives you the possibility of maintaining the correct therapeutic compression pressure. As soon as the leg circumferences diminish, the compression pressure decreases too. Readjust the straps individually to restore the pressure.
We recommend you check the pressure every two to five hours during the day and readjust it if necessary. This way, you can be sure that the optimum therapeutic compression is exerted all the time. This supports your treatment and allows you to make an active contribution.
As soon as your leg circumferences have decreased further, please talk to your therapist. He will adapt your compression garment to your new leg circumferences. This makes sure you always have made to measure compression care for optimum treatment.
