The Levamed® Active ankle bandage integrates soft tissue compression with innovative stabilisation features for enhanced support. Crafted to fit onto the ankle effortlessly, it has a customisable strap design featuring both elastic and non-elastic components, allowing for a more personalised foot adjustment. 

With superior transverse and longitudinal stretch capabilities, it widens the relief zone, offering heightened comfort, which is particularly beneficial for individuals with elevated insteps.

Designed to provide soft tissue compression, the Levamed Active incorporates targeted padding for the upper ankle joint (OSG) or lower ankle joint (USG) when necessary. It accommodates additional functional elements for restricting specific movement directions, ensuring comprehensive support as needed.

• Sprains (distortions) with capsule overstretching
• Chronic ligament instability with recurring sprain injuries (supination trauma)
• Outer ligament tears (ruptures) in the second treatment phase
• Treatments for syndesmotic ligament injuries that do not require surgery (conservative therapy)

The Levamed Active ankle bandage prioritises wearer comfort through a thoughtful design. Featuring compressive fabric (CCL2) alongside 3D silicone pads strategically placed inside and out, and an adjustable belt system, it effectively stabilises the joint while allowing for individualised restriction of supination movement.

Crafted with a 90-degree angle knit, accentuated arch support, and extended underfoot coverage, it ensures a precise and comfortable fit.

The compressive fabric enhances proprioception and aids in body awareness, while 3D silicone pads offer a gentle massage effect and help reduce swelling. 

A unique comfort knit with a stretch zone at the top edge facilitates easy application. Additionally, a donning aid made of balloon silk simplifies putting on and positioning the Levamed Active.

Thanks to its blend of high-tech fibres and eucalyptus-derived natural fibres, the bandage is gentle on the skin. Clima Comfort technology ensures optimal wearing comfort by promoting breathability and efficiently wicking moisture away from the skin's surface. 

Clima Fresh effectively inhibits odour, which is particularly advantageous during heightened physical activity.

Scientifically validated by the French institute IFTH, medi's Clima Comfort technology has demonstrated excellent climate balance between the skin and the stocking, earning an outstanding overall rating of 11 out of 12 points.
